NAIRIYAH 1 IPP

OVERVIEW

Nairiyah-1 Independent Power Project with a capacity of 1,800 MW is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine IPP that is developed by ACWA Power in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia.

ACWA Power and the Saudi Power Procurement Company (SPPC) have signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the Development, Financing, Build, Own and Operate of a 1,800 MW Combined Cycle Gas Turbine plant.

Saudi Power Procurement Company acting as the sole off-taker for this project. In addition to ACWA Power, the shareholders include the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), which holds a 35% share, and Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), which holds a 30% share.
