The Saguling 60 MW Floating PV project is a greenfield Independent Power Project IPP that is developed by ACWA Power and local partner PT PLN Indonesia Power in the Republic of Indonesia.
ACWA Power and the PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (“PLN”), a national electrical company, signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the development/construction/operation of a 60 MW floating photovoltaic plant in reservoir of hydro-electric power plant. PT PLN acts as the sole off-taker.
The project will be located in the Saguling, West Java province and will be developed as a ‘Build, Own, Operate’ project. ACWA Power will take the lead in the construction, engineering, operation and maintenance the plant.
