Investing in progress.

Acwa is the largest private power producer in the Middle East and the world’s largest private water desalination company, based on total gross capacity in gigawatts and cubic meters per day. It is also a world-class leader in the energy transition and a first mover in green hydrogen.

ACWA Power (TADAWUL: 2082) is listed on the Saudi Exchange. Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the company employs 4,175 people and operates across 15 countries in the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia. Its portfolio comprises 111 projects in operation, under construction, or in advanced development, with a total investment value of ﷼430.5 billion (US$ 114.8 billion).

These projects have the capacity to generate 93.3 GW of power and produce 9.3 million m³/day of desalinated water, delivered on a bulk basis to state utilities and industrial customers under long-term offtaker contracts through utility services outsourcing and public-private partnership models.

Acwa’s integrated Develop–Invest–Operate–Optimize model spans the full asset lifecycle. The company develops projects, invests in them, operates them with long-term discipline, and continuously optimizes financial structures to sustain performance and maximize returns.

Acwa’s strategy is to remain at the forefront of the energy transition by delivering reliable, responsible, and low-cost power, desalinated water, and green hydrogen in attractive high-growth markets. Through a risk-balanced, contracted business model, Acwa plays a key role in enabling the energy transition within, and from, developing economies.
