Al Dur Phase II IWPP
Al Dur2 IWPP is an Independent Water and Power Project located at Al Dur in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Plant shall be developed to generate 1,500 MW of Power based on Combined Cycle Gas Turbine(CCGT) technology and produce 50 MIGD of water through Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) technology. The plant shall be integrated with the existing Intake and Outfall facilities while the Gas Connection Facilities shall be developed and transferred to Tatweer to facilitate supply of Natural Gas to the Plant. The Plant is expected to be fully operational by Q2 2022.
