NOORo III (NOOR Ouarzazate III)

NOORo III (NOOR Ouarzazate III)

NOORo III is a 150 MW concentrated solar power (CSP) plant with a solar power tower, part of the larger NOOR Ouarzazate solar complex in Morocco. It utilizes heliostats to focus sunlight onto a receiver atop a 250-meter tower, generating thermal energy that's then used to produce electricity. NOORo III includes a molten salt storage system, providing power even after sunlight.
