Ar Rass 2 Solar PV IPP

The Ar Rass 2 Solar PV 2000 MWac is a greenfield Independent Power Project IPP that is developed by ACWA Power in Ar Rass, Qassim Province, KSA.

ACWA Power and Saudi Power Procurement Company signed a 35-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the development/construction/operation of a 2000 MWac photovoltaic plant. Saudi Power Procurement Company acts as the off-taker.

The project is located in the Ar Rass, Qassim Province, KSA and under development/construction as a ‘Build, Own, Operate’ project. ACWA Power is taking the lead in the construction, engineering, operation and maintenance of the plant.
